I tuned into MPOS today for the first time in a couple weeks assuming they'd have some Purdue guests on air as lead in for the game on 1260 tonight. Just got through the opening monologue, no Purdue guests mentioned but a possible RM-sighting no maybe I'll keep listening. Anyway, 3 or so mins of his opening was spent with MP analyzing the words contingent and contingency (of course he pronounced both incorrectly on purpose because it's cool when he does that!) and how it's a pet peeve of his when people have contingency plans in place. I can't take this dude' style.

Looks like MPOS has Robin Miller in the third hour.

So will we get any Purdue hoops talk today? I'm listening to Dakich and on a commercial Sniff said they are going to have Purdue network people on. I need to decide which evil to choose. Any recommendations? I heard a great Hope interview on 950 last week, maybe they're the best place for my online listening needs.

I could really do without Stuck doing MP impersonations during the updates.

SAS is beyond unlistenable... and Mike & Mike have to be the most boring duo on the airwaves.

Interesting point.

I've definitely been listening to more music than at any point in the past, the Rosetta Stone option is an intriguing thought.

Does this mean you'll be working with Jman on his grammar?

Agree wholeheartedly on the first point.

As for those douchepuppets... God, they suck. A big one. It's so, so clear that all those dumbass nicknames (Scheftie...SCHEFTIE???), plus their "polar opposite" dynamic is a result of staff meetings. Not real life. Oh well, I've been listening to Bob and Tom. Their traffic dude can actually say "crash with injury."

They will continue to prep their shows a week a head of time and continue to to talk about Chicago area happenings when it occurs according to Mike Jr and Notre Dame takes from Mike Sr.

You can laugh at me for appreciating southern Indiana humor and someone who can present that and laugh at themselves at the same time. But give me what the phuck I want to hear......not what the sponsors think they want to hear. Because in the end....I will matter.

It is what it is!! LOL!

BTW---I miss the trio of JMV, Hagan & Trudouche on Fridays. I mean I miss their humorous stuff live on the air, esp. after they had a few cold ones.

I don't listen to Mark Patrick, but if anyone here does, did he have anything to say about Tony Kornheiser today? Kornheiser was suspended by ESPN for two weeks for comments he made about MP's cousin Hannah Storm. Just curious if he touched on it at all.

I pull into work at 3pm, so I only get to catch the first part of MPOS, and only because I'm to lazy to turn it after Rome. Today he had a mic cut out as the show started. It was one minute of bliss as Ace was the only guy that could be heard.

But I didn't hear anything on TK.
